Caorán
bedeutet auf Irisch Torfmoor oder Torffeuer, das Brauer verwenden um Whiskey herzustellen. Auf Schottisch-Gaelisch heisst Caorann die Eberesche.
Die jetzige Formation besteht aus vier Musikern aus dem Raum Rheinfelden: Jacqueline Kym (Querflöte, Tin-Whistle), Ursula Schnepp (Geige, Gesang), Philippe Schnepp (Bodhrán, Kontrabass) und Anthony Petrus (Gitarren, Mandoline, Gesang)
Caorán
in Irish means peat bog or the peat fire that brewers use in the making of whiskey. In Scottish-Gaelic, caorann means the rowan tree.
We are now four musicians who live in the neighbourhood of Rheinfelden, Switzerland: Jacqueline Kym (Flute, Tin-Whistle), Ursula Schnepp (Violin, Vocals), Philippe Schnepp (Bodhrán, Double Bass) and Anthony Petrus (Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals).
